SUDDENRUSH BANKED SLALOM LAAX
The Art of Snowboarding, Culture, Music
For the fifth time in a row snowboard legends Nicolas Müller and Terje Haakonsen host the Sudden Rush Banked - one the most original formats within snowboarding, the Banked Slalom.
A course with plenty of bends, rollers and off course banked turns will arise in harmony with nature in Europe’s freestyle snowboard mecca Laax. And as in previous years European snowboard legends and casual shredders of all ages will make their way to Laax to compete in a racing discipline that has managed to hold onto any semblance of what the average core snowboarder would consider ‘cool’. One turn after the other, back and forth, getting ever faster and more energetic, racing through a Banked Slalom course is like a majestic dance!
With more than 400 riders aged from five to sixty-five, taking to their boards, racing the banked turns and passing the finish line, the fastest one wins! It’s time that counts, but more than anything it’s about having a blast and shredding with like-minded people. Whether you want to take part yourself or simply experience the excitement, the SuddenRush Banked Slalom LAAX hosted by Terje Haakonsen & Nicolas Müller from 7 to 10 March 2019 will offer fun for all in the snow and lasting memories.
What makes the SuddenRush Banked Slalom even more special is the fact that it is a sustainable event, that was initiated by the one and only Chris Bachmann, the man behind the SuddenRush Guarana shots. Positive vibes, good times and loads of shredding are guaranteed at the SuddenRush Banked Slalom, so make sure you me your way to Laax in early March. More info here.
